Events in 2008 Song Meditation Workshops, Crete Singing is medicine for the soul. Every voice is unique and the medium of song can provide a vehicle to express your individual sound, your feelings, your soul and to relish in joy and healing on a truly spiritual level. You don’t need to be an experienced singer to participate in Trixi's Song Meditation workshops at Yoga Plus – you only need a desire and a willingness to explore your own sound within a safe, empathic group environment, and to leave at home any prejudices you may have about your own voice.
Through breathing, resonance and voice-building work, and through learning a series of simple yet beautiful meditative canonic chants and songs, participants can enjoy the delightful companionship of group singing and benefit from increased levels of self-confidence, energy, inner peace and joy of life.
This is one of the many unmissable "Plus" courses available alongside the daily astanga yoga sessions offered by Radha and Pierre at Yoga Plus. Book your course now by visiting:

And don't worry if you think you can't sing or have never done yoga before - we aim to create a safe, encouraging and supportive haven, away from it all, without fear of criticism and without the pressure to "perform". News "Jazzicle Pops!" - Children's Jazzy Song Collection aimed at Keystage 2 This is now complete and I would like to extend a special thanks to everyone who has tested the songs and given me really good feedback to help me to knock the songs into shape. In particular I would like to thank the children and teachers of St. Andrew's Primary School in Oxford, Whitehills Lower School in Northampton, Parklands Primary School in Swansea, St Thomas School in Swansea, and independent voice tutor Annabelle Westcott with her younger pupils in Windsor. I am currently looking to publish the set as one collection, and I'll post up more information on this at a later stage. |
