SONG & LAUGHTER DROP-IN WORKSHOP
Nantwich Museum, Pillory Street, Nantwich

Designed to take the sting out of sing
(and put the ZING back in!)

25 April 2010, 11.30am - 4.00pm

It's official: singing is really good for you - mind, body & soul. The very act of singing enhances mood, releases tension and soothes the spirit.
And yet....there are so many people who think they can't - or shouldn't - sing.
They worry that they're not good enough.
Or think they're tone deaf.
That people may mock or criticise them if they do sing.

This is a workshop designed to promote musical fun, laughter, and the enjoyable companionship of group singing along the way!

Trixi provides a safe and empathic environment in which to explore your voice and delight in the pleasure of singing - however good or bad you think you are. We'll cover lots of tools & tips to encourage better breathing and enhanced voice production, a mix of non-classical songs, rounds & simple harmony.

It doesn't matter if you've never sung before or whether you're a seasoned warbler, whether you're 7 or 90. The workshop is for everyone and makes for a fun activity across the generations.

It's a rolling workshop through the afternoon, so just join in whenever you arrive and stay as long as you feel like.

For more information on this workshop please tel : 01270 627104, or email enquiries@nantwichmuseum.org.uk. To find out about other events at Nantwich museum, please visit: www.nantwichmuseum.org.uk
